ACN continues to make strategic changes to our essential services portfolio to provide the most attractive product offerings in every market. We are excited to announce a simplified High Speed Internet and Phone Service portfolio for the U.S. and Canada starting December 29, 2016. Existing customers on all services will continue to be supported.
The Residential and Business Phone Service portfolio has already been consolidated to focus on our state-of-the-art Digital Phone services, which use Voice over IP (VoIP) technology to allow customers to make local and long distance calls over an Internet connection.
In the United States, the ACN-branded High Speed Internet offering will be discontinued in all territories, including Residential and Business High Speed Internet and Bundled High Speed Internet + Voice services. These changes will be implemented on your ACN Direct Storefront on December 29. ACN expects to reintroduce stand-alone Residential High Speed Internet in Q1 2017, through a partnership with well-known national providers. Under the new offering, IBOs will be able to leverage these familiar brand names, and we will achieve a national serviceability footprint to expand your potential customer base.
In Canada, the ACN-branded High Speed Internet offering will be updated starting in January with competitive new rates, new plans, and updated Training Material to help you acquire customers. Existing customers will also be able to transition to the new plans. Stay tuned to your Back Office for the latest updates.
In the U.S. and Canada, the DigitalTalk Express and DigitalTalk Express Phone Adapter products will be simplified to match the needs of the majority of our customers. Both products will now support a maximum of 4 voice lines; the 5- to 8-line option will be discontinued. These changes will be implemented on your ACN Direct Storefront on December 29. The Analog line add-on and Business Referral Program for phone services have been discontinued. ACN will continue to offer small business phone services via the DigitalTalk® Express product suite, delivering crystal-clear audio with unlimited calling to the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, competitive international rates, and a host of business-class features.
